USPS Proposes a New Port Authority Finance Station

NEW YORK, NY – The Postal Service will host a public meeting on Monday, April 22 at 6:00 p.m., at the Bayard Rustin Educational Campus, 351 West 18th Street New York, NY 10011 to discuss the proposal to relocate the New York Port Authority Finance Station from 76 9th Avenue New York, NY 10011 to a location as close as reasonably possible to the existing location.

At the public meeting, the Postal Service will identify the need, the tentative decision to relocate services, outline the proposal to meet the need for relocation, invite questions, and solicit written input on the proposal.

The Postal Service will provide an address to which the community and local officials may send written appeals of the tentative decision and comments on the proposal for a period of 30 days following the public meeting.

Customer input on this proposed relocation is welcome. For 30 days after the public meeting, written comments can be submitted to the address below for the Postal Service to consider prior to any final decision.
