CORNWALL, NY – To make it easier to apply, acting Postmaster Dan Englishman is announcing a one-day special expansion of the passport application acceptance hours at the Cornwall Post Office, 33 Quaker Avenue.  On Saturday, July 6, passport applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. While normally by appointment only, walk-ins are welcome on Saturday, July 6. The Postmaster advises passport photo service is also available.

Detailed guidelines for preparing passport applications, a list of the necessary supporting documents, and current processing times are posted online at: www.travel.state.gov.

The United States Postal Service operates thousands of Post Offices around the country that can accept passport applications on behalf of the United States Department of State.
