USPS Makes Way for the 37th Annual Dominican Day Parade

NYC Collection Boxes in the Area Receive Temporary Seal / Removal

NEW YORK, NY — In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will seal or remove Postal Service collection boxes on Saturday August 10, in New York City.

The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible on Saturday August 10.  

Impacted collection boxes will be reopened on Monday, August 12.

US Mail Collection Boxes impacted at the following locations:

  • Both Sides of 38th Street – between 5th Avenue and Broadway
  • Both Sides of 37th Street – between 5th Avenue and Broadway
  • Both Sides of 36th Street – between 5th Avenue and Broadway
  • Both Sides of 6th Avenue – between 36th Street and 52nd Street
