STATEN ISLAND, NY — In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will seal or remove Postal Service collection boxes on Sunday, March 1, in Staten Island for the 2020 St. Patrick’s Day parade.
The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible after the final scheduled collection of mail on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020.
Impacted collection boxes will be reopened on the morning of Monday, March 2.
