Queens and Brooklyn Post Offices add extra hours for ballot drop-off Monday, November 2

New York, NY — With a record number of people across the country voting early, the U.S. Postal Service is actively working to ensure the secure, timely delivery of the nation’s Election Mail. This is our number one priority and we are working closely with state and local election officials across the country to meet this goal.
With that goal in mind, the Postal Service is extending the hours of select retail locations throughout Brooklyn and Queens on Nov. 2, 2020 for ballot drop-off services.

Brooklyn

  • Brooklyn General Post Office / Cadman Plaza, 11201: extended until 10 p.m. (normally closes at 8 p.m.)
  • Williamsburg Post Office, 11211: extended until 8 p.m. (normally closes at 5:30 p.m.)
  • Blythebourne Post Office, 11219: extended until 9 p.m. (normally closes at 5 p.m.)
  • Ryder Post Office, 11234: extended until 8 p.m. (normally closes at 5 p.m.)

Queens

  • Corona / Elmhurst Post Office, 11368: extended until 8 p.m. (normally closes at 5 p.m.)
  • Flushing Main Post Office, 11355: extended until 10 p.m. (normally closes at 8 p.m.)
  • Forest Hills Post Office, 11375: extended until 9 p.m. (normally closes at 5 p.m.)
  • Jackson Heights Post Office, 11372: extended until 8 p.m. (normally closes at 5 p.m.)
  • Long Island City Post Office, 11101: extended until 9 p.m. (normally closes at 5 p.m.)
  • Woolsey Post Office, 11105: extended until 8 p.m. (normally closes at 5 p.m.)
  • Rochdale Post Office, 11422: extended until 8 p.m. (normally closes at 5 p.m.)
  • Rockaway Main Post Office, 11691: extended until 9 p.m. (normally closes at 5 p.m.)
  • Jamaica Main Post Office, 11432: extended until 9 p.m. (normally closes at 5:30 p.m.)
