ALBANY, NY – Start your postal career from the comfort of your own car with a safe, quick, drive-in and drive-out service offering official USPS application kits for City Carrier Assistant jobs throughout the Amsterdam and Schenectady areas.
Postal officials will be on hand at the Amsterdam Post Office – 10 Church Street, and the Schenectady-Heritage Post Office – 1976 Schuyler Street, to provide prospective employees with instructional material on the job application process along with a listing of current local job vacancies.
These drive-thru events allow applicants to safely receive material that will assist with searching, navigating and submitting applications for Postal Service positions.

At $17.29 per hour, City Carrier Assistants perform the duties of a city letter carrier delivering and collecting mail on foot or by vehicle. A City Carrier Assistant may be required to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
