USPS Prepares for the Greek Independence Day Parade

NYC Collection Boxes in the Area Receive Temporary Seal / Removal

NEW YORK, NY — In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will temporarily seal or remove Postal Service collection boxes on Saturday, June 4, in New York City.

The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible Saturday, June 4.  

Impacted collection boxes will be reopened on Monday, June 6.

US Mail Collection Boxes impacted at the following locations:

  • 38th Street between 5th Avenue and Park Avenue.
  • 37th Street between 5th Avenue and Park Avenue.
  • 36th Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue.
  • Madison Avenue from 38th Street to 27th Street (Southbound).
  • Madison Avenue between 24th Street and 26th Street.
  • 26th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue.
  • 27th Street between Madison Avenue and 5th Avenue.
