Syracuse Post Office Providing Virtual Job Fairs

SYRACUSE, NY — Not all work at the Postal Service is delivering mail or selling stamps. Currently the USPS Processing and Distribution Center located at 5640 East Taft Road in Syracuse is looking for motivated individuals to work indoors moving mail and packages to and from automated processing machines throughout the distribution facility.

To help fill immediate openings for the position of Mail Handler Assistant, the Postal Service in Syracuse will be providing the following virtual job fairs:

Wednesday November 2 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Wednesday November 9 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

During the virtual job fair USPS personnel will provide detailed information about the position and assist with the application process. Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a background investigation. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
