NEW YORK – In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will temporarily seal or remove Postal Service collection boxes on Sunday, September 10, in New York City.

The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible until reopened on Tuesday, September 12.

US Mail Collection Boxes impacted at the following locations:

• Church Street from Park Place to Albany Street.
• Cedar Street from West Street to Church Street.
• Liberty Street from South End Avenue to Broadway.
• Vesey Street from North End Avenue to Church Street.
• Barclay Street from West Street to Broadway.
• West Street from Albany Street to Murray Street.
• Washington Street from Albany Street to Barclay Street.
• Greenwich Street form Albany Street to Barclay Street.
• South End Avenue from Liberty Street to Albany Street.
• Little West Street from Second to Third Place.
