BETHPAGE, NY — Post Offices across Long Island are hiring applicants for the holidays and beyond. Positions with immediate availability include Mail Handler Assistants.

To assist applicants in the process, Bethpage Post Office will be hosting an October job fair on Friday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 339 Hicksville Rd., Bethpage, NY 11714.

These job fairs are part of the U.S. Postal Service’s 10-year plan, “Delivering for America” to build a more stable and empowered workforce.

Mail Handler Assistant: $18.22 per hour paid bi-weekly. Loads, unloads, and moves bulk mail and performs other duties incidental to the movement and processing of mail.
