MEVILLE, NY — The Long Island Postal Customer Council (PCC) met on Oct. 11 for mailers to meet Postal Service district leadership. The theme this month was “Meet the District”.

The agenda was packed with keynote speakers.

Mailers heard from Postal Service’s District Manager Frank Calabrese, Manager Address Management Systems Randy Sauber, Business Lead Development Specialist Alan Habert, Acting Manager Customer Relations Jodi Finnegan, Manager Consumer Affairs Sherilyn Simmons and Bethpage Plant Manager Bruno DiLuca.

“The benefit of joining your local PCC is to explore opportunities and share expertise,” said District Manager Frank Calabrese.

There are 144 PCCs across the nation. With roots dating back to the 1961 formation of Citizens’ Advisory Councils, today’s PCCs seek to help industry members grow and develop professionally through networking, educational programs, and access to Postal Service professionals.

“The Postal Customer Council history has a proven track record of success and has sustained its reputation throughout the decades,” said Long Island District Manager Frank Calabrese.

“Locally, our Long Island PCC is proud to be part of this success, and we look forward to growing our membership. We encourage any local business to join us,” he added.
