Long Island City Post Office to Host Oct. 27 Hiring Fair

LONG ISLAND CITY, NY — Long Island City Post Office is hosting a job fair on Oct. 27 to help fill immediate USPS openings. Positions available include full-time, part-time and seasonal.  

USPS personnel will be available to provide detailed information and answer questions while applicants apply online at www.usps.com/careers.

Applicants can learn about positions including city carrier assistants, tractor trailer operators, postal support employees, sales and service associates, mail processing clerks, mail handler assistants and rural carrier assistants.

These job fairs are part of the U.S. Postal Service’s 10-year plan, “Delivering for America” to build a more stable and empowered workforce.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays (may vary based on position).
