SUFFOLK, NY — Jobseekers who love the outdoors and serving the public can apply for a stable and benefits-filled position with the U.S. Postal Service this fall.

Visiting a job fair at a local Post Office is the best way to get the process started.

Postal leadership will be at the following Post Offices to assist candidates in applying online at usps.com/hiring.

These job fairs are part of the U.S. Postal Service’s 10-year plan, “Delivering for America” to build a more stable and empowered workforce.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays (may vary based on position).
