Post Offices Across Long Island to Host January Hiring Fairs

USPS is looking for committed individuals to fill immediate positions

NEW YORK — The Postal Service will host job fairs on Long Island during January to help fill immediate openings. Positions available include city carrier assistants and rural carrier assistants.

Post Office personnel will be available to provide detailed information and answer questions while applicants apply online at www.usps.com/careers.

Jan. 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Lindenhurst Post Office
    65 E. Hoffman Ave., Lindenhurst, NY 11757
  • Ronkonkoma Post Office
    200 Hawkins Ave., Ronkonkoma, NY 11779
  • Uniondale Post Office
    1000 Front St., Uniondale, NY 11553

Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Lynbrook Post Office
    100 Broadway, Lynbrook, NY 11563

Applicants can learn about positions including city carrier assistants, tractor trailer operators, postal support employees, sales and service associates, mail processing clerks, mail handler assistants and rural carrier assistants.

These job fairs are part of the U.S. Postal Service’s 10-year plan, “Delivering for America” to build a more stable and empowered workforce.
