NYC Collection Boxes in the Area Receive Temporary Seal / Removal
NEW YORK – In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will temporarily seal or remove Postal Service collection boxes on Friday, September 20, in New York City.
The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible until reopened on Monday, September 23.
US Mail Collection Boxes impacted at the following locations:
Both sides of Vanderbilt Ave. between Targee St. and Tompkins Ave.
Both sides of Tompkins Ave. between Vanderbilt Ave. and Broad St.
Both sides of Broad St. between Tompkins Ave. and Bay St.
Both sides of Bay St. between Broad St. and Water St.
Both sides of Water St. between Bay St. and the Stapleton Esplanade
Any/all collection boxes located in and around Tappan Park
Both sides of Ellington St. between Vanderbilt Ave. and Targee St.
Both sides of Cliffside Ave. between Vanderbilt Ave. and Targee St.
Both sides of Van Duzer St. between Vanderbilt Ave. and Cornell Place
Both sides of Cornell Pl. between Vanderbilt Ave. and Van Duzer St.
