Port Jefferson Station Post Office to Relocate

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — The U.S. Postal Service will relocate the Port Jefferson Station Post Office, located at 544 Jefferson Plaza in Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776 to a new facility located at 593 Old Town Road in Terryville, NY 11776.

The Postal Service notified customers via mail of the proposed relocation on May 23, 2024 and June 5, 2024 asking for community input. The Postal Service has carefully considered the concerns expressed, as well as in comments received from the public.

The Postal Service is relocating because it was unable to renew its lease at the current location.

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as provided at the previous location.

Postal operations will continue at the existing location until the replacement facility is open and fully functional. If we are unable to do so, we will inform the community of available alternative retail services.
