Temporary Closure of the West Kill Post Office

Customers to use the Shandaken Post Office

WEST KILL, NY — Due to safety concerns, the West Kill Post Office, 30 Spruceton Road, is temporarily closed until further notice.

Current West Kill Post Office Box customers can retrieve their mail at the:

Shandaken Post Office
22 State Route 42
Shandaken, NY 12480

Monday – Friday   8 a.m. - noon & 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Saturday   9 - 11 a.m.

Be prepared to show a photo ID when claiming your mail.

Mail delivery in West Kill will continue as normal.  However, customers will be directed to the Shandaken Post Office to pick up vacation mail, signature-required items, or oversized articles. 

A timeframe for a return to West Kill has yet to be determined.
