MELVILLE, NY — The Long Island Postal Customer Council (PCC) board held an in-person meeting on April 2 at the Mid-Island Processing and Distribution Center in Melville, NY, to discuss mailpiece design with Director of Postal Affairs Leanne Herman from Sepire.
Sepire is a multi-channel communications agency offering services in contact management, printing, mailing, fulfillment, and electronic delivery.
Herman has been an active member of the mailing industry for over 25 years with areas of specialty including mail piece design and mailing requirements.
Herman is a graduate of Upper Iowa University and a speaker at various local, regional and national events, including PCC events, Mailcom, National Postal Forum and Printing United.
This PCC meeting also aimed to educate small businesses on Post Office services that can help grow small business and save money.
Postal Customer Councils, created in 1961, provide a unique opportunity for any business to meet with top level managers of the Postal Service to obtain information, share ideas, address issues, grow their business and network with other business colleagues.
“The Postal Customer Council history has a proven track record of success and has sustained its reputation throughout the decades,” said Long Island District Manager John Tortorice.
“Locally, Long Island PCC is proud to be part of this success, and we look forward to growing our membership. We encourage any local business to join us,” he added.
The Long Island PCC aims to bring industry professionals together and hosts both in-person and virtual meetings aimed at spreading awareness on new products and services and creating a platform where professionals can learn from each other.
