USPS Proposes a New Restoration Plaza Post Office

BROOKLYN, NY – The U.S. Postal Service is proposing to relocate the Restoration Plaza Office located at 1360 Fulton Street, Suite 1 Brooklyn, NY 11216-9993 to a yet-to-be-determined location as close as reasonably possible to the current site.

The Postal Service is considering relocation because the landlord will not renew the lease.

This project will allow the Postal Service to maintain retail operations for our customers in the vicinity for the long term. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to provide services at the Restoration Plaza facility until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.

The Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and will be soliciting and considering input from the community and local officials.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
