USPS Prepares for the Heritage of Pride March

NYC Collection Boxes in the Area Receive Temporary Seal / Removal

NEW YORK – In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will temporarily seal or remove Postal Service collection boxes on Saturday, June 28, in New York City.

The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible until reopened on Monday, June 30.

US Mail Collection Boxes impacted at the following locations:

  • Both sides of 33rd Street between 5th Ave and 6th Ave
  • Both sides of 33rd Street between 5th Ave and Madison Ave
  • Both sides of 32nd Street between 6th Ave and Madison Ave
  • Both sides of 31st Street between 6th Ave and Madison Ave
  • Both sides of 30th Street between 6th Ave and Madison Ave
  • Both sides of 29th Street between 6th Ave and Madison Ave
  • Both sides of 28th Street between 6th Ave and Madison Ave
  • Both sides of 27th Street between 6th Ave and Madison Ave
  • Both sides of 26th Street between 6th Ave and Madison Ave
  • Both sides of 25th Street between 5th Ave and Madison Ave
  • Both sides of 5th Ave between 23rd Street and 33rd Street
