NYC Collection Boxes in the Area Receive Temporary Seal / Removal

NEW YORK – In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will temporarily seal or remove Postal Service collection boxes on Saturday, September 13, in New York City.

The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible until they are reopened on Monday, September 15.

US Mail Collection Boxes impacted at the following locations:

  • Both sides of 37th Street between 5th Avenue and Park Avenue
  • Both sides of 38th Street between 5th Avenue and Park Avenue
  • Both sides of Madison Avenue between 38th Street and 26th Street
