Restoration Plaza Post Office to Relocate

BROOKLYN, NY – The U.S. Postal Service has reached a final decision to relocate postal services from the Restoration Plaza Post Office located at 1360 Fulton Street, Suite 1 Brooklyn, NY 11216-9993 to a nearby location at 570 Nostrand Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11216-9993.

The Postal Service notified customers via mail of the proposed relocation on May 24, asking for community input. The Postal Service has carefully considered the concerns expressed, as well as in comments received from the public.

This relocation decision was made because the current lease is expiring and the landlord will not renew the lease.

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location and will maintain retail operations at the current Restoration Plaza facility until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
