Temporary Closure of the Elba Post Office
ELBA, NY – Due to safety concerns, the Elba Post Office, 7 N. Main St., is temporarily closed until further notice.
Current Elba Post Office Box customers can retrieve their mail at the:
Oakfield Post Office
28 Main St.
Oakfield, NY 14125
Be prepared to show a photo ID when claiming your mail.
Retail Hours:
Monday – Friday 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., and 2 until 5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. until noon
Mail delivery in Elba will continue as normal. However, customers will be directed to the Oakfield Post Office to pick up vacation mail, signature-required items, or oversized articles.
A timeframe for a return to Elba has yet to be determined.
