NYC Collection Boxes in the Area Receive Temporary Seal / Removal
NEW YORK – In the interest of safety and security, postal officials will temporarily seal or remove Postal Service collection boxes on Friday, May 15, in New York City.
The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible until they are reopened on Sunday, May 17.

Both sides Washington Avenue between Eastern Parkway and Empire Boulevard
Both sides of Empire Boulevard between Washington Avenue and Flatbush Avenue
Both sides of Flatbush Avenue between Empire Boulevard and Grand Army Plaza
Both sides of Flatbush Avenue between Grand Army Plaza and Ocean Avenue
Both sides of Ocean Avenue between Flatbush Avenue and Parkside Avenue
Both sides of Parkside Avenue between Ocean Avenue and Park Circle
Both sides of East Drive between Park Circle and Center Drive
Both sides of Ocean Parkway between Park Circle and Surf Avenue
Both sides of Surf Avenue between Sea Breeze Avenue and West 10th Street
Both sides of West 10th Street to the end (Riegelmann Boardwalk)
