USPS August Hiring Events in New York City

NEW YORK, NY – The U.S. Postal Service is hosting local hiring events for multiple positions.

The Postal Service will provide support, prescreening/fingerprinting, and accept applications at several city locations from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the dates below.

Manhattan – Wednesday, August 5:
James A Farley Post Office (421 8th Ave New York, NY 10001)
Brooklyn – Thursday, August 6:
Cadman Plaza Post Office (271 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY 11201)
Manhattan –  Friday, August 7:
Manhattan VMF (201 11th Avenue, New York, NY 10001)
Manhattan –  Tuesday, August 11:
FDR VMF (909 3rd Ave, NY 10199)
Brooklyn –  Thursday, August 13:
Brooklyn P&DC (1050 Forbell St, Brooklyn, NY 11256)
Bronx –  Friday, August 14:
Bronx GPO (558 Grand Concourse, Bronx, New York 10451)
Staten Island – Friday, August 21:
New Dorp Station (2562 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306)

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license for two years or more. They must also be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, clear a background check, and be in the U.S. for a minimum five years.

Health and vacation benefits are available. Appointments may lead to career positions within USPS.
