An in-depth USPS safety and health investigation of the Bloomdale Post Office building has identified substantial deterioration in its structural integrity. In accordance with OSHA and USPS regulations and to safeguard the health and safety of customers and employees, the Postal Service is suspending operations at the Bloomdale Post Office, 109 South Main Street, Bloomdale, Ohio 44817 at the close of business on Tuesday, March, 26, 2019. Blommdale Post Office operations will be relocated to the Fostoria Post Office located at 202 West Center Street, Fostoria, Ohio 44830. The relocation will be complete by Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

Hours of operation for the Fostoria Post Office are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm. Lobby is open 24 hours for P.O. Box access.
