Downtown mail service to be temporarily affected due to ballgame

CLEVELAND — Beginning July 5, 2019 through July 10, 2019 the MLB All Star game will limit USPS mail delivery due to heightened security and road closures in the downtown Cleveland area. It also may be difficult to access collection boxes so the Postal Service is asking customers to drop off mail at a retail office. Residents and businesses that would like to put their mail on hold can do it online at https://holdmail.usps.com/holdmail/ or by calling 216-443-4174.

Hold mail can also be picked up at the Cleveland Post Office located at 2201 Broadway Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44101. The pickup window is located at gate K in front of the Broadway entrance. Customers are required to provide their delivery address and a valid photo ID in order to pick up their mail. USPS apologizes for any inconvenience this might cause.

Customers can call the Postal Service's toll-free number 800-ASK-USPS (800-275-8777) or the TTY number 877-TTY-2HLP (877-889-2457) for help with any postal related questions they may have.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
