Steel Valley Postal Customer Council (PCC) will be hosting a small business mailing event

YOUNGSTOWN OH — Steel Valley Postal Customer Council (PCC) will be hosting an event to help small businesses with their shipping needs. The event will be August 8, 2019 from 10am to noon at the 4-Mile Run Christian Church, 701 North Run Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44515.

Customers will learn about Shared Mail, Direct Mail, and Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM).
Speakers include USPS Youngstown Postmaster Tom Kerns, President of Smart Marketing Jeff Politano, and Farm and Dairy Circulation and Marketing Director Mike Ping.

The Steel Valley Postal Customer Council (PCC) aims to foster a close working relationship between the United States Postal Service and local business mailers by sharing information as well as exchanging ideas about new and existing USPS products, services, programs, and procedures that affect local business mailers.

The Steel Valley PCC board meets on the second Thursday of each month to discuss ideas and offer educational programs, seminars, and vendor events. These events are all created with the goal of helping small and large business mailers find ways to take better advantage of the latest postal information, resources, and tools in order to help their business.

Members of the Steel Valley PCC learn the most profitable and effective ways to market their business through the mail from postal experts and USPS employees and have the opportunity to share ideas, insights, and best practices with other local business mailers.

The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars for operating expenses; it relies entirely on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
