USPS Recognizes Jan Potter For 50 Years of Service


Recognition award will be given to Columbus, Ohio Postage Due Clerk Jan Potter for 50 years of service

In 1968, the cost of a postage stamp was five-cents, Apollo 8 orbited the moon and Jan Potter began her Postal Service career.

On August 28, 2019 at 7:30am the Postal Service will conduct a recognition ceremony for Ms. Potter. In front of family, friends and co-workers, this Columbus resident will be honored for her long-time service and commitment to her job and community.

The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars for operating expenses; it relies entirely on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
