USPS temporarily relocating Mount Vernon Unit operations

COLUMBUS, OH — Operations are temporarily suspended at the Mount Vernon Retail Unit due to the air conditioning unit not working. In accordance with OSHA and USPS regulations and to safeguard the health and safety of customers and employees, the Postal Service is temporarily relocating operations from the Mount Vernon Retail Unit, 327 North 20th Street, Columbus, Ohio 43203 to the Columbus Main Post Office, 850 Twin Rivers Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43216.

P.O. BOX customers will be able to pick up their mail at the Columbus Main Post Office. Customers should follow signs for “caller service” when arriving at the parking lot. Valid proof of identification is required. The service will be available Monday through Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 1:00pm.

Retail service operation hours for the Columbus Main Office are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

The Postal Services apologizes for any inconvenience this might cause however the safety of our employees and customers is our top priority.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
