Background:

The Grand River Post Office, 340 Wetmore Avenue, Grand River, Ohio 44045, will be dedicated in honor of Lance Corporal Andrew “Ace” Nowacki on August 31, 2021 at 9:30 am.

Lance Corporal Nowacki sacrificed his life on February 26, 2005 to protect a Babil province convey while on duty in Iraq. This hero was only 24- years old and served his country with honor. His legacy is cemented in patriotism, heroism, and a special caring for his fellow man.

On December 21, 2020, legislation to designate the Grand River, OH Post Office building as the “Lance Corporal Andrew “Ace” Nowacki Post Office” was signed into law by President Trump. The legislation was championed by U.S. Congressman David Joyce.

The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars for operating expenses; it relies entirely on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
