Postal Service Honors KeyBank, LovelySkin and EVEREVE at the National Postal Forum

PHOENIX — The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) today recognized three area companies for mailing industry innovation and industry best practices at the largest annual trade show in the country for the mailing industry. Awards were presented to KeyBank, LovelySkin and EVEREVE during the final day of the National Postal Forum, held this year in Phoenix. They were among 12 companies recognized nationwide.

The awards were presented to customers in three categories: the Mailing and Digital Innovation Award, the Shipping and eCommerce Innovation Award and the Innovation and Growth Award.

The Mailing and Digital Innovation Award recognizes customers who demonstrate creativity by finding new methods to use mail to drive significant business results and mail growth. The Shipping and eCommerce Innovation Award honors customers who have used industry best practices to implement new technologies to maximize efficiencies, and to convert requests for purchase and fulfillment into package volume reflecting significant business results. The Innovation and Growth Award recognizes companies that have taken steps to position themselves for significant growth with the U.S. Postal Service as their partner. They have employed innovative strategies or operational improvements to rapidly grow and deliver increased value and business results. There were winners in each of the Postal Service’s four geographic areas across the nation: Atlantic, Central, Southern and WestPac.

KeyBank received the Central Area Mailing and Digital Innovation Award. KeyBank, the primary subsidiary of KeyCorp, is a regional bank headquartered in Cleveland and is the only major bank based there.

KeyBank is ranked 24th on the list of largest banks in the United States, maintaining a large footprint with business offices in 39 states. KeyBank created an innovative Informed Delivery campaign designed to reach a broad demographic spectrum ranging from millennials to more mature and seasoned clients. Upon opening the mailpiece, a cleverly designed pop-up appeared. The pop-up directed the recipient to the checking account sign-up page, enticing them with cash incentives to immediately open a new checking account. Utilizing creative strategies to acquire and expand client relationships is key to achieving their goal of staying one step ahead of their competitors.

LovelySkin received the Central Area Shipping and eCommerce Innovation Award. LovelySkin, headquartered in Omaha, NE, is the largest dermatologist-owned and -operated skin, hair and beauty website in the world, serving more than 2 million customers. They consistently win customer service awards and have grown 1,000 percent in the last ten years.

Their mission is to help every customer find the ideal solution for any skin or hair concern, all backed by a board-certified dermatologist Joel Schlessinger, MD, and his co-founder, Nancy Schlessinger. By partnering with the Postal Service and investing in cutting-edge technology, LovelySkin has been able to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction by standardizing and improving shipment time in transit, while also providing end-to-end visibility for the customer. This has solidified LovelySkin’s brand image as a consistent and trusted provider of health and beauty products to their valued customers.

EVEREVE received the Central Area Innovation and Growth Award. Founded in 2004 to inspire joy from the love of fashion, EVEREVE is a contemporary fashion styling company based in Edina, MN.

EVEREVE operates 95 stores across 30 states, a fast-growing e-commerce platform at evereve.com and a digital personal styling service called Trendsend, which brings the styling experience of EVEREVE’s stores into customers’ homes.
