Wilmington Rural Carrier to Receive Postmaster General Award for Heroism

Background:

The Postal Service will present the Postmaster General Hero Award to Wilmington Rural Carrier Hayden Dale for his heroic actions.

While Dale was on his route, he found a man injured after falling off a ladder. He was able to alert the man’s wife and get him medical attention. The gentlemen who was injured is very appreciative and will be at the event to celebrate with the Postal Service.
