TROY, OHIO — The U.S. Postal Service is pleased to celebrate the 2025 Sculptures on the Square public art exhibition in downtown Troy, Ohio, with a commemorative pictorial postmark available from June 12 through October 5, 2025. The theme of this year’s event, “Sow & Grow,” captures the spirit of nature, growth, and community represented in 19 sculptures from 16 artists across eight states.
An unveiling of the postmark will take place June 12 at 6 p.m. at the Mayflower-The Encore, 9 W. Main Street, Troy, Ohio. More information on the event is available at troymainstreet.org.
The special postmark, featuring the Sow & Grow name and Troy Main Street branding, will be available at the Troy Post Office, 305 S Market St, Troy, OH 45373. Postmark requests by mail are also welcome and will be serviced throughout the exhibition period.
In conjunction with the sculpture exhibition, a Postcrossing Meetup (https://community.postcrossing.com/t/20-june-2025-troy-ohio-meetup/1075752/11) will be held in downtown Troy on June 20, 2025, inviting local and visiting mail enthusiasts to connect, exchange postcards, and celebrate the joy of sending and receiving handwritten messages around the world. Postcrossing is an international project that allows anyone to send and receive postcards from random people around the globe — promoting cultural exchange and friendly connections through mail.
The 2025 Sculptures on the Square exhibition features dynamic works that reflect the “Sow and Grow” theme — from windmills and wildflowers to pollinators, trees, and interpretations of ecological harmony. A public celebration will be held the evening of June 20 during the Fridays on Prouty concert series.
