Proposed Relocation of Rogers, OH Post Office

What:

The U.S. Postal Service will be mailing a postcard to the impacted community, announcing a proposed relocation of the Rogers, OH Post Office located at 7529 Depot St., Rogers, OH 44455-9800. The postcard provides information about the public comment period.

Background:

Due to loss of leasehold at the current facility, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail location within the 44455 ZIP Code.

The desired size of the new facility needs to be one of the following:
(a) an existing building to lease, approximately 900 square feet with designated parking, or (b) vacant land to lease, approximately 11,000 SF site, that could accommodate a postal-owned modular building and parking.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the Rogers, OH Post Office until Oct 24, 2025. Operations will then be moved to the Lisbon, OH Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
