OKLAHOMA — Effective immediately, retail operations at the Elgin, OK, Post Office, 8292 State Hwy 17, are temporarily suspended due to roof and water damage.

Retail operations are available at the alternate locations listed below:

Fletcher Post Office, 103 N Selby St, Fletcher, OK 73541 (4.8 miles North)
Hours of operation: M-F: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sat:  9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Medicine Park Post Office, 18851 State Hwy 49, Lawton, OK 73507 (14.3 miles West)
Hours of operation: M-F: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Sat:  9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Sterling Post Office, 210 Main St, Sterling, OK 73567 (7.4 miles East)
Hours of operation: M-F: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sat:  8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Retail Services are the only services affected at this time. P.O. Box customers are able to safely retrieve their mail at the Elgin Post Office, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Customers may deposit outgoing mail in the collection box in front of the Elgin post office, with the last daily pick-up at 4:15 p.m. Delivery operations are not affected.
