Background
On Saturday, August 21, USPS District Manager Julie Gosdin will join elected officials and Luper family representatives at the dedication of the Center City Post Office in honor of Clara Luper.
On January 14, 2020, former Congresswoman Kendra Horn (D-OK) introduced H.R. 5597, a bill to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service, located at 305 Northwest 5th Street, Oklahoma City, OK, as the Clara Luper Post Office.
Congress approved the measure, which became Public Law 116–303, on January 5, 2021.
