Background:

Randy Acord was named the Postmaster of Tulsa, OK, in February 2022. As Postmaster, he oversees retail and delivery operations at ten stations and two finance offices. The Tulsa Post Office team consists of 600 dedicated employees serving an estimated population of 402,000 residents.

“My goal is to provide outstanding customer service to the community served by the Tulsa Post Office and to contribute to the overall success of the Postal Service. I am very much aware of the vital role the Postal Service plays in connecting neighbors and communities across the nation, and, as outlined in our USPS Delivering for America plan, we are modernizing and continually adapting to the evolving needs of our customers,” said Acord.

Acord is a 28-year postal veteran who previously served as Postmaster of Kansas City, KS. He is married to his wife, Veronica, and they have two children and three grandchildren.
