Postal officials will be on-site to answer questions about the Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) position. An RCA may be eligible to receive health benefits and promotion to a career opportunity. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy staying active and working independently outdoors The position offers starting pay of $19.94 per hour, and could be the first step to a long-term rewarding career at the Postal Service.

In this role, successful applicants will:

• Deliver and collect packages on routes in rural areas weekdays/weekends/holidays
• Provide a variety of services to customers along an assigned route
• Sort, lift and push moderate to heavy loads of mail and packages to prepare for delivery
• Deliver mail along an assigned route
• Pick up or collect mail from customers
• Sell stamps, money orders or other services
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather: rain, snow, cold and heat

USPS employment requirements:

• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and medical assessment.
• US citizenship, permanent resident, citizen of American Samoa or other US Territory.
• Must provide recent employment history.
• Safe driving record with two years of driving experience.
