Rural Carrier delivering mail

OKLAHOMA - The Arkansas-Oklahoma District is hosting multiple job fairs throughout the month of February to fill immediate vacancies for Rural Carrier Associates (RCA). This week’s job fair is scheduled for Thursday, February 15, at the Oklahoma City P&DC. Postal officials will be onsite to answer questions about employment opportunities and to assist with the application process.

Oklahoma City P&DC, 4025 W. Reno, Oklahoma City, OK 73125
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

At $20.38 per hour, an RCA serves families and businesses in rural and suburban areas. An RCA is responsible for the delivery and collection of mail, working when regular carriers have scheduled days off or vacation days. An RCA also sells stamps, supplies, and money orders. An applicant must have a valid state driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. A personal vehicle may be required. Becoming an RCA could be the first step to becoming a full-time, regular rural carrier with full benefits.

A postal job offers employees the ability to work where they live, competitive pay, stability, lifelong benefits and career advancement opportunities throughout the entire agency.

Those unable to attend a job fair may apply at www.usps.com/careers.
