USPS Has Immediate Openings with Generous Pay and Benefits

OKLAHOMA – The U.S. Postal Service continues to actively seek motivated individuals to fill immediate openings for Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) positions. Starting salary is $20.38 per hour, paid bi-weekly. A postal job offers employees the ability to work where they live, competitive pay, stability, lifelong benefits and career advancement opportunities throughout the entire agency. 

To assist potential applicants, Postal officials are participating in the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission Spring Job Fair to answer questions about employment opportunities and to assist with the application process.

Rural Carrier Assistant (RCA) - At $20.38 per hour, an RCA serves families and businesses in rural and suburban areas. An RCA is responsible for the delivery and collection of mail, working when regular carriers have scheduled days off or vacation days. An RCA also sells stamps, supplies, and money orders. An applicant must have a valid state driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. A personal vehicle may be required. Becoming an RCA could be the first step to becoming a full-time, regular rural carrier with full benefits.
