ADA, OK — The United States Postal Service has immediate openings for job seekers to secure not just a job, but a rewarding career and opportunities for growth. We are currently hiring motivated individuals to join the Ada postal team as Rural Carrier Associates (RCA), Assistant Rural Carriers (ARC), City Carrier Assistants (CCA), and Postal Support Employees (PSE).

To assist potential applicants, Postal officials are hosting a job fair on January 31, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at the post office below to answer questions and assist with the application process.

Position Descriptions:
City Carrier Assistant (CCA) – A CCA delivers mail and packages on a varied schedule that may include weekends and holidays. The position requires a valid state driver’s license, safe driving record, and experience with a passenger car or larger. The position may lead to career employment. Starting salary: $19.33 per hour.

Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) - An RCA serves families and businesses in rural and suburban areas. An RCA is responsible for the delivery and collection of mail, working when regular carriers have scheduled days off or vacation days. An RCA also sells stamps, supplies, and money orders. An applicant must have a valid state driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. A personal vehicle may be required. Becoming an RCA could be the first step to becoming a full-time, regular rural carrier with full benefits. Starting salary: $20.38 per hour.

Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC)  An ARC will deliver and collect packages along routes in rural areas and will provide a variety of services to customers along an assigned route. The successful applicant may be required to provide their own vehicle for transportation. As an ARC, you may opt to provide service to your community on weekends and holidays or up to seven days each week; whichever suits your lifestyle. If you enjoy working outdoors, while keeping your week free, this may be a great fit for you. Starting salary: $20.38 per hour.

Postal Support Employee (PSE) – A PSE performs a variety of sales and customer support services. The job primarily involves providing services to customers over the counter at postal branches. Benefits may include paid vacation and health insurance. If you enjoy working with the public to serve your community this may be an excellent fit for you. Starting salary: $20.48 per hour.
