SAND SPRINGS, OK — The United States Postal Service has immediate career opportunities for job seekers in SAND SPRINGS and the surrounding areas. We are seeking motivated individuals to fill immediate openings for the positions of Rural Carrier Associate and Assistant Rural Carrier. City Carrier Assistant and Postal Support Employee positions may also be available in some locations.

To assist potential applicants, the Postal Service is hosting a job fair at the post office listed below on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Postal officials will be onsite to answer questions about employment opportunities and to assist with the application process.

Positions Available:
Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) - At $21.89 per hour, an RCA serves families and businesses in rural and suburban areas and is responsible for the delivery and collection of mail. An RCA may also sell stamps, supplies, and money orders. Applicants must have a valid state driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. This position could be the first step to becoming a full-time, regular rural carrier with full benefits.

Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC) – At $21.89 per hour, an ARC will deliver and collect packages along routes in rural areas and will provide a variety of services to customers along an assigned route. The successful applicant may be required to provide their own vehicle for transportation. An ARC may opt to provide service on weekends and holidays or up to seven days each week.

City Carrier Assistant (CCA) – At $21.21 per hour, a CCA delivers and collects mail on foot or by vehicle in a city area. A CCA provides a critical service to the community by ensuring mail delivery during weekdays, weekends and holidays with opportunities for career promotion. CCAs may be eligible for certain benefits including paid leave and health insurance. This position is ideal for candidates that enjoy staying active outdoors with occasional customer service interactions.

Postal Support Employee (PSE) – At $21.44 per hour, a PSE will perform a variety of sales and customer support services. The job primarily involves providing services to customers over the counter at postal branches. Benefits may include paid vacation leave and health insurance. If you enjoy working regularly with the public in service to the community this may be an excellent fit for you.
