U.S. Postal Service Offering Sunday Retail Service

Many Post Offices Open on Sundays in December

PORTLAND – Many post offices in Oregon and southwest Washington will be open for retail services on Sundays during the month of December leading up to Christmas according to Portland District Manager William Schwartz.

“We realize many of our customers may not be able to get to a post office during the normal work week,” Schwartz said.  “Providing Sunday service in some post offices will assist those customers.”

Customers will be able to pick-up parcels and make retail postal purchases at various locations, as noted below:

  • Airport Mail Facility Retail, 7640 NE Airport Way, Portland, Dec. 16 and 23, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., parcel pickup and retail.
  • Main Post Office, 715 NW Hoyt St., Portland, Dec. 16 and 23, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., parcel pickup and retail.
  • Tigard Post Office, 12219 SW Main St., Portland, Dec. 16 and 23, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., parcel pickup and retail.
