Background:

As of this week, mail-in ballots have been delivered in all 50 states by the state and local boards of elections to USPS sites for delivery to voters nationwide.  USPS has delivered .more than 100 million ballots across the nation to voters and local boards of elections. With a record number of people across the country voting early, the U.S. Postal Service is focused on the secure, timely delivery of the nation’s Election Mail.  Given your previous interest in Election Mail, I thought you would be interested in covering how the Postal Service is actively working here in Portland to deliver a historic level of Election Mail.

Please RSVP to me if you plan to attend. Right now, through election day, USPS local management is authorized and expected to use extraordinary measures – expedited handling, extra deliveries, special pickups – consistent with those used in past elections to accelerate the delivery pf ballots.  These resources will be used to connect blank ballots entered by election officials to voters or completed ballots returned by voters entered close to or on Election Day to their intended destination.

RSVP: Please RSVP Ernie Swanson at 253-214-1830 for specific entry instructions.
