BLUE RIVER, OR — The U.S. Postal Service has opened a temporary post office in a mobile unit in the parking lot at McKenzie High School in Blue River.
The Blue River Post Office, 91160 McCauley St., was destroyed in this summer’s wildfires.
Blue River postal customers can pick-up their mail and make retail USPS purchases at the high school location.
Hours of operation at the high school mobile unit are 8 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and closed on Saturday.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
