CHENEY, WA – A wild fire burning near Andrus Road between Cheney and Airway Heights has led to Level 3 evacuations affecting more than 200 homes in the area and a resulting impact on mail delivery.

Acting Cheney Postmaster Mark Thomas reports mail is being delivered along roads that have not been officially closed.

If their road is closed, customers may pick-up their mail at the Cheney Post Office, 224 2nd. St.  The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Customers will need to provide identification in order to pick-up their mail.
