Nicole Archer Heads Corvallis Post Office

Manages USPS Services for Four ZIP Codes Within Corvallis Community

Corvallis, OR — Nicole Archer is the new Postmaster at the Corvallis Post Office and she has worked hard to get to her new position.

Archer began her Postal career nine years ago as a carrier. She moved to manager of customer service in Springfield and held the position of officer in charge at several offices before successfully landing her first Postmaster position, of which she says she’s, “very appreciative and motivated”.

In her new role Archer is excited to take on new duties, “hiring new employees, providing tools and guidance to my employees, working customer service, getting all my employees home safely every day.”

These duties will help the Postal Service achieve success in the “Delivering for America” 10-year plan to achieve financial sustainability and service excellence.

Archer says she has definite views on what she hopes to accomplish, “dedication to my employees to provide a safe and fulfilling place to work and to our customers to get their mail and packages delivered timely and correctly.”

The Corvallis Post Office has 86 employees serving more than 32,000 addresses throughout four ZIP Codes and nearly 2,300 Post Office Boxes.

Nicole is married with two children and is looking forward to getting more involved with the local Corvallis community. She also wants to find some extracurricular interests.

“I have been very dedicated to USPS for some years, OIC [officer in charge] in multiple offices. I haven’t made time for hobbies but now that I am where I worked hard to be, I am hoping to find some”
