Events to be Held During Small Business Week and Beyond
Postal customers aren’t just limited to individuals mailing letters or cards, many are small, local business owners. The Postal Service recognizes the importance of supporting small businesses, the jobs they help create, and the quality of life they provide in every ZIP Code across the nation.
The week of April 30 – May 6, is National Small Business Week and to celebrate, postal employees throughout Oregon are hosting “Grow Your Business Days” in lobbies large and small to help locally owned businesses grow and thrive. Events are happening not only during the official recognition week, but throughout the month of May. A list of participating Post Office locations and dates are below.
The free, community-based events are intended to educate small business owners and entrepreneurs on the wide variety of postal resources available to help them grow their business. Services include the Informed Delivery tool and many shipping options and can be found at a Post Office location or online at usps.com.
