Mail Delivery and Retail Services Will Not Be Affected
The West Slope Post Office located at 3225 SW 87th Ave, Portland will be closed temporarily for environmental upgrades beginning June 1. It’s anticipated the work should take roughly one week to complete.
West Slope PO Box customers should collect their mail at the nearby Multnomah Post Office will-call window. The Multnomah office is located four miles away at 7805 SW 40TH Av., Portland.
The Multnomah Post Office retail hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and closed on Saturday and Sunday.
To accommodate West Slope PO Box customers who may not be able to collect their mail during regular business hours, the Multnomah will-call window will be open on Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
PO Box customers will be required to show a proper photo ID in order to pick up their mail and packages.
All street deliveries are unaffected and will be made as normal.
Retail transactions, such as hold mail requests, forwarding mail, or stamp purchases can be found at the Multnomah Post Office.
The Postal Service apologizes for this inconvenience to our customers and plans to resume operations at the West Slope Post Office as soon as the work is completed.
